Hi guys, just purchased an iPad Air 2 and a smart cover. I don't like the smart case too much, because I find it too bulky and having to always hold the front part when I use the iPad. With a Smart Cover + back case, I can just remove the smart cover when I use my iPad, which is why I like.

So I just bought an used black smart cover for 20$. Now, I'm looking for a perfect back case. I prefer it to be completely clear so I can see the gold color in the back which I love. I think that a clear TPU case would be better because it gives a better grip than a hard case and is also more durable. Hard case tends to break easier (mostly corners) and more prone to scratching. However, if I'm wrong, just let me know.

Anyone you would recommend?

Did a quick search on Amazon.ca and hesitating between those 3:

Cheap, TPU, but is not 100% clear
https://www.amazon.ca/kwmobile-sili...id=1460951238&sr=1-15&keywords=ipad+air+2+tpu

Great reviews, 100% clear, cheap but it is a hard case
https://www.amazon.ca/Fosmon®-Table...00RPJITYS/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

TPU, but is not 100$ clear, expensive:
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00OL7L2QO/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=

Which one of the 3 would be best? Too bad none of them fits all my criteria: TPU, 100% clear and cheap. If you find any, let me know.

Thanks

I am currently using the second one and have been happy with it, but when my iPad fell I still got a scratch on the top left corner.

Scratch on the ipad or the case? Is the ipad comfortable to hold with this case on? I bought a similar case in the past for my ipad mini and got a huge dent on a corner when i tried to remove it, is this case prone to breaking too?

Last time I used a hard generic case, it rubbed the metal corners of my iPad down and ruined my resale value. If I was going generic again, I'd definitely stick with the softer rubberized cases.

The case snapped back and the ipad itself got a dent. Being that the case was fine and my iPad had the damage, I do not think the case is prone to breaking :D

iPad feels fine to hold it with.
