I’m visiting my aunt in the coming 2 weeks and would love to add some HomeKit items to her household considering she loves her Apple TV and HomePod Mini.

Of the many accessories out there that are HomeKit ready I think she could use some HomeKit enervated lightbulbs with the goal being able to tell Siri to turn on the lights in the morning upon waking.

Also, would be cameras. Nothing major for security just for fun. She’s expressed interest in having a camera always at the ready so she can see her dogs in the living room when she’s at work.

I don’t wanna break the bank on this and considering it’s not for my specific Apple fanboy house, I still do want HomeKit enabled gizmos that’ll work.

As of this moment I have the VOCOlinc Smart Light Bulb 2 in pack for $27 in my shopping cart

Also have the Meross Smart Plug Mini 2 pack for $20

VOCOlinc is a good choice for low priced light bulbs.

As for cameras, check the Eufy indoor cams. They have a pan and tilt and a fixed version. They’re the lowest priced HomeKit enabled cams I can think of. Just know, pan and tilt, and two way audio functionality only works in the Eufy app.

Here’s a two pack for 75 bux:

Those Eufy indoor 2 pack looks promising.

I heard to stay away from the Wyze cameras despites their lower price.

Wyze doesn’t have HomeKit support so didn’t bother mentioning. There might be a HomeBridge plug-in for it but I don’t know for sure.
