I've just bought a Base 14" Pro and am looking for monitor to go with it, I've not had one before so don't know much about the best specs to pair with my Macbook. I came across this article - https://bjango.com/articles/macexternaldisplays/ which says displays within 110PPI and 220PPI are a bad choice but searching online most of the recommended monitors seem to be in this range. I did like the look of this monitor - https://www.novatech.co.uk/products/lg-27up850-27-inch-4k-uhd-ips-led-lcd-monitor/27up850.html but it's 163 ppi & I see a lot of people recommend Dell Ultrasharp but the U2720Q for example (which is unfortunately out of my price range) is also 163 ppi. Will this make a huge difference? I'd appreciate any advice or recommendations, I think a 24-27" will be around the right size, I'll mainly use it for day-to-day browsing, iOS development (using Xcode) & watching shows ?
