Best way to clean Magic keyboard/mouse?

Is there some product that can clean these devices properly without ruining the surface? or can I just use the same spray I use for the screen?

Only thing I ever use to clean my devices and displays is breath mist and a microfibre spectacle cloth. Easier in a cooler environment where the mist forms more readily on the surface. Definitely wouldn't be spraying anything on a keyboard.

ETA: For large displays - laptop upwards - a (new!) microfibre car polish applicator/buffer sponge is ideal.

I use isopropyl alcohol. Had no issues to date. YMMV.
