best way to do a clean install

HI all
Whats the best way to do a clean install on my mac mini? I have basically sold it and looking at erasing my stuff on it, so therefore when the new person starts it, it takes them through all the welcome pages etc. I am running snow leopard btw.

Just put the install disc in and go into disc utilities on the DVD and DOD wipe the Drive.

I love Snow Leopard. Was the first person in line at Valley Fair when it came out. Have never had any issues.
