I have an older NetGear that has issues...I purchased a Linksys WRT54G and my new MBP seems to have issues working with it...

Should I just get a newer NetGear? Any other recommeneded wireless routers out there that work well with the MBPs?

What kind of issues are you having?
I personally use Netgear routers, but I have heard good things about Linksys as well. Of course if you can afford an Airport that may be the best way to go.

my old netgear is exactly that,...it's OLD! it doesn't seem to have the range it used to (90%+ everywhere in my house now down to 50%+)

it just loses the internet connection all the time (i have to unplug it and then replug it in)

it's just a pain, i'm not sure if it's just gotten worse over time or what, i don't mind another netgear, but i thought i'd try something new...if there's something more recommended out there
