Black Mac Case

Hello, i came across this ITX case made by company called Black Mac from China. I found about them couple weeks ago in chinese forums lools like they are a case manufacturer that makes cases that have lattice pattern on 2019 Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR. I have seen some chinese forums mentioning their name and have seen few Taobao listings but couldn't find much information about them. Only proper information i could find directly came from this Discord server as owner of the Black Mac is there too.

Fun fact: In china hackintoshes are called Blackmac

They have ATX case too with handles and a latch like a the Mac Pro. The case in this photo is from Dune but i don't recommend you backing them up as they only delivered 26 cases in 2.5 years and they took 1.3m$ from crowdfunding. Even if you did orderd the dune there is quiet ******** around it and for the additional "fast shipping" options they additional 99 or 350$ so big yikes idk. They said group buys are not available due to shipping problems? Something like that you can order it from Taobao or you can order it from contacting owner. I wouldn't recommend taobao as shipping is wonky there but Black Mac arranges shipping when you order directly from them as they have contract with a shipping company and they ship the thing much much more cheaper than the any way you can arrange with Taobao.

WOW, that ATX is incredible! What's the cost for that? I've got to figure out why discord isn't working on my 2020 iMac so I can order one of these. If it comes in Black or Space Gray I'd even hock a kidney.

Well you better find a buyer for your kidney because its 1100$. 5099 rmb + 1500 rmb + 5 percent paypal fee comes up to 1100 usd. 5099 is case price and 1500 is shipping. Space Gray was a limited edition due to how challenging it is to match the colors of the panels on such big case and technology is premature for such a big thing. Quality is sick amazing tolerances on the case is like what Apple provides. It is expensive because its a boutique case lol

I‘m one of the Lucky 10 that got a dune pro case. Case is nice but nowhere near shipping in masses. So, don‘t order until they really ship (which is probably never regarding the current status…)

Dune looks great in this video. I didn't knew that someone who got their hands on one recorded a video of it. It's sad too see the current status of it. They could have been something much more bigger.

It doesn’t really, but it would be trivial to get some and attach them, which is what I’m planning to do… I wonder if anyone makes filters for the real Mac Pro…
