how much would you charge for designing a blog? just design... the art... not the code or the behind the art stuff.

Just for the mock up? Somewhere between $50 - $100 I think. Enless it was a good friend of mine, then they get my friends rate of a 6 pack

I charge at least a case of 12 or a nice bottle of Rum.

haha most of my friends are either students and/or in bands. So a 6-pack is about all they can afford. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice sick pack I charge (no poverty $1 for me!)

$350...grant it that might be time consuming, but thats about it...I think charging $50 is reasonable
I think Chico is talking about professional web design rather than doing it for a friend. I would charge at least $350 as well for a professional design like the example he showed. But if it were for a friend I would charge much less, if anything at all.
