Blue Boxes

I'm getting blue boxes around buttons in certain apps and I'm not sure why. None of my settings have changed. iPhone 13 running iOS 16.4.1.

The boxes seem like an iOS thing, rather than the app. I was thinking something to do with accessibility, but changing the settings makes no difference.

Settings -> Accessibility -> Display & Text Size -> Button Shapes
is switched on

It's off...tried switching it on and off and the boxes still remain.

I tried it on my iPhone with 16.4 and it showed the behaviour in your screenshots, went back to normal with it off.
Maybe others might have suggestions.

I wonder if it's a bug. I'll try a restart.

Sorted it...toggling colour filters on and off has got rid of the blue boxes, even though I've never had colour filters switched on ever 🧐
