CarPlay Blue status bar when using CarPlay

I've noticed when I connect my iPhone to CarPlay the status bar turns blue and remains that way for the duration of my phone being connected. My fiancé also connects to CarPlay with his iPhone but this doesn't happen to him.

I've checked to make sure it's not something to do with navigation, etc.

Anyone else having this issue?

I don't know anything about car play really, but could it be personal hot spot? That would make sense.

No, that was one of my first thoughts but it's off on my phone.
