It seems that most of the distros that use the Blueman BT manager have a problem connecting to peripheral devices. The problem is not limited to Apple peripherals, but I have not yet tried it on PC machinery.
I have yet to successfully pair any mouse or keyboard with any distro using Blueman. Manjaro KDE uses something else and works fine. The Cinnamon edition not at all. Same with Mint. Before Mint 20, no issue.
