Error was mine. DBG-RefindGOP_x64-001200k.zip was the previous which I mistakenly reattached.

@DearthnVader could just delete the 3,1 Only / bit from the title of this thread and it would be fine.

To anyone stumbling on this, the Refind Version that works for all cMP variants is in Post 256.

Thanks for seeing this through, I knew the 5,1 could be cracked, I just couldn't figure it remotely.

Now if we only knew why nVidia cards don't work?

Why wouldn't it? If it has valid unmodified (checksum) GOP. It needs more testing.

No reason why they should not work as @startergo pointed out.

Actually, this version of Refind should work on such if they have GOP functioning in theory as it basically implements the same actions the ProvideConsoleGOP Quirk does in OpenCore and anything that has boot screen in OC should also do so with this ... in theory.

ConsoleOut GOP not working as with all cMP 5,1 (cMP 3,1 returns "ok" at this line and jumps to querying the GOP modes etc)

Trying to see if we can get UGADraw working.

I never tried to boot Refind without it until just now.
Bootscreen shows on 3,1 OK without it ~~but the first stage progress bar does not show up~~. That doesn't make sense as this is by OpenCore ... Need to test again.

Is there any ill effect of it being loaded on a 5,1?

Actually it is an improvement to the MVC EFI vbios, as it does not show any artifacts at the last boot stage as MVC bios does.

If you have -v in the nvram boot args that works else have the boot plist file for the os modified for verbose. Also was needed for single user mode to work.

Given that you continue to swear things broke between MyBootMgr 059 to myBootMgr 059a onward, Gone back to look at the code changes at that point again.

Can rename and paste the attached Refind efi into your setup with the old Tesla GPU and post log?
