I have a MBA RevB that seems to have died. Switching it on I get a grey screen and 3 bleeps on a loop.

Surfing the net I understand this is due to faulty RAM. Can anyone confirm this or had similar happen to theirs?

Guess I'll be calling the Apple Store tomorrow.

I am assuming that you don't see the Apple logo. If that is the case, the machine is failing POST (Power-on Self Test). In other words, it is a hardware issue - possibly RAM like you said. Did you put third-party RAM yourself after you bought the machine?

Let us know how your visit to Apple Store went. Interested in knowing the cause of the problem.

Its a MacBook Air, Ram isn't upgradeable, soldered directly to the motherboard. Going to take it to my local Apple Store tomorrow, see what they can do for me.
