Bought new Apple TV 4K but TV+ sub wasn’t extended

Just bought a new 2017 Apple TV 4K thinking it’d add on another trial year of TV+ but expiration/renewal date for free trial remains July 2,2021. Any way to fix this? I have 5 members on family plan and maybe I should reset the AppleTV and sign in with one of their AppleIDs to tack on another 1 year for the trial?

It was always a one time thing and doesn’t extent with a new purchase.
Also they reduced the free trial to 3 months.

To add to what Diskutant posted per Apple’s terms and conditions for the trial:

”Only one offer per Family, regardless of number of devices purchased. You can share your Apple TV+ subscription with up to 5 other family members via Family Sharing.”

I ran into this today, when a new phone purchased for one of the other family members didn't qualify us for the promo. The Apple Support chat person said that if I turned off Family Sharing for that family member with the new phone, then the promotion would indeed kick in, but just for that one family member. I'm not interested in doing that...
