PCPartPicker is a great place to start. They have lots of user builds to reference in just about any price range. I also found the community to be really helpful with advice on potential build lists. I am not sure of the pricing will work for you in the UK, but the knowledge base is excellent.

Why would you not click on the link anyway and have a check? Or go to https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/ and build your own?
You can build but I wouldn't rely on the prices.
It doesn't take into account, for me, being able to go to MicroCenter and get a MoBo $40 off if you by a CPU with it...
