Hey guys, I have a Macbook Air that I'm trying to connect to a 24" E2414Hm flat panel monitor. The monitor supports either VGA or DVI-D. DVI-D is intentionally bolded because I'm trying to buy the right cable(s).

Two questions: a) If a product is labeled DVI, does that mean DVI-D? b) On the Macbook Air, is Thunderbolt the same as a "DisplayPort"?

For instance, please check out this cable from Monoprice: http://goo.gl/chB0z4. This is how they describe it, "3ft 28AWG DisplayPort to DVI Cable - White". Will this cable work with my setup?
