Hi there,

I work at a school where the kids have a requirement to have an iPad for their learning. The problem that I am having is that the 250+ iPads on site are downloading lots of Apps and lots of Updates for the Apps and iOS updates, which is causing a massive Internet Usage. The top 140 largest Internet transactions per day are App downloads which is approx 14GB a day!

Does any one know if there is a way to cache apps. I know Squid has caching abilities for other Internet based traffic but I don't know how to configure Squid for Apple Apps and iOS updates.

Any help would be great. I have onsite, a transparent Squid box, a Mac X Server and a Mac Mini. So between those three items I am hoping to find a solution
