Is there a calculator on the M1 computer? I couldn't find one. I loaded the calculator that I use on my iPad but that one must be touch screen only because it only works with me clicking the mouse on the numbers/operations I want to use. If I try to type the numbers in it just beeps. I'd like one I could use my ten key with for quick calculations.

macOS comes with a basic calculator app.
There are others in App Store if you need specialized calculators.
Free 42 is a free emulation of the HP-42S calculator. A good choice if you are use to HP Scientific calculators
Your iMac is in a fixed location. The ideal solution is to have a calculator of your choice in that same location.

Calculator is actually 3 calculators. Open the app and check View in the menu bar.
Thanks. I found it in the Applications folder. I was looking in the apps in Launchpad in the Dock. Learn something new every day.
I’ll put it there, but it’s not in mine by default. Seems odd that it wouldn’t be but oh well.
Yes, I know. But even old hand-held calculators could have multiple modes.
And I use the Calculator app for conversions as often as anything else.
