iPhone 12 Pro Max Calendar granular alerts

Folks - the default calendar pops up an alert every time somebody accepts my invite (the alert says 2 attendees commented or 3 commented). My invites are often to about 300 people so this is a pain to get a notification every single time. I'd prefer to have an alert only when a meeting is coming up but don't see this granularity available in settings. Any other way?

Also: Settings > Notifications > Calendar > Customize Notifications. Turn off invitee alerts.
