Calendar on MM not reflecting iCal on desktop

I have an iMac 20" 2.4GHz w/ 1GB of ram & 10.6.3. I noticed somehow that my iCal had double Calendars (home, work...) and that was reflected in MobileMe. That makes sense. I then deleted the doubles in my iCal but when it synced with MobileMe the doubles still appear. I added a single calendar item in iCal and it did show up in MobileMe.

What can I do so that my MobileMe calendar is a true reflection of my iCal calendar on my desktop? This is also creating havoc with my iPhone calendar.
