If you saw the News today, you'll know that Scott Forstall was pivotal to native apps on iOS !
If he didn't win his Debate with Jobs regarding native third-party iOS apps, the iPhone would have died a fairly quick death in the market (Palm, & its webOS would be dominate today).
As such, I just submitted an updated of my primary app, with a subtitle that reads:
Forstall Homage Edition
Will keep it for just one update, & the move-on to something more traditional.
So here is the gist of ALL this.
Would love to see ALL App Devs do the same, & do so quietly ... NO fanfare is needed, just a simple way of paying respect & honor who apparently had a number of heated Debates with Jobs as to whether third-party native apps should be allowed on iOS.
BTW, doing so will send a message to Apple's Upper Mgmt, that App Devs are following the Epic trial closely
