Curious about avoiding reinstalling the old applications from CDs (and one from multiple floppies I think) and re-tuning software and Finder preferences, when installing Snow Leopard Server. Perhaps there is a chance?

Detail:
Recently installed Parallels on an older machine (10.11). The Mac originally shipped with 10.6, which is present on another bootable volume. And it would be convenient to run some 10.6 software without rebooting into that OS.
Without getting into the diametrically opposed interpretations found online of the 10.6 EULA regarding virtualization, Parallels Desktop 13 seems to be particularly strict about installing or even running Snow Leopard, despite commonly mentioned work-arounds. But SL Server is explicitly supported.
