I think of buying 2011 Macbook pro for video editing. And photo editing, Can this work?

First, learn what the most recent MacOS that can run on the MacBook is. Then, I'm sure the Adobe site can tell you whether CC can run on that operating system.

I don't recommend it. The GPU is incredibly weak compared to today's MacBooks. Mine has hardware acceration for H264 which helps, but that still doesn't overcome the poor GPU performance. For photo editing, it may be fine, but that depends on how much RAM you need. I hope you're not paying more than $200 for it. If your inching close to $500, you should be able to pick up a 2015 with the r9. If for some reason you are past $500, grab a refurb/education M1 air. It is substantially faster for photo/video editing on GPU-accelerated software.

I'm paying 400USD cash, even though I haven't approved it yet, I am buying it for another guy far distance from where I live.
