I know some people get jittery when their phones get below 90% battery health, and Apple advise replacing at 80%. Was updating my mom's 6S for her and out of interest checked the battery health. She says she doesn't notice anything, just plugs her charger in each night.

Has anyone seen lower?

My guess is she doesn't want to bother replacing the battery so does not make a fuss over it.

Check with Apple if they'll still do battery replacements for her 6s but to be honest I'd hand down your current iPhone so you can upgrade to iPhone 15.

FiL was here and his 6s was 32 percent. It would die 10 mins after unplugging. I wiped it and it’s now at our electronic recycling facility.

iPhone 6s Plus on the left, iPhone 6 Plus on the right.

Note, I'm cheating. Battery on the 6s Plus was replaced in November 2021 after five years (and 79% health) on the original. Battery on the 6 Plus was replaced around two weeks ago. Got the 6 Plus off eBay about a month ago and replaced the battery.

Picture taken by my 11 Pro Max, which is my primary phone and at 99% health.

my iphone 12 mini is at 74% now. So your mom's 6s isn't that bad actually
