yes it does work without any issue.

** to add .. epic games installer doesn't work but Geforce now works fine.

That error message probably comes from Steam's launcher normally being just 32-bit. The client itself (which is buried within ~/Library/Application Support/Steam) has been 64-bit for quite a while now.

It is still working. Unfortuneatly Counter Strike Source no longer works though but GO does.

Download it again. It seems Valve is too lazy and the autoupdater don't update the 32bit steam launcher to 64bit.
