Can I use 3rd Party Power Adapter with Type-A Magnetic Charger to charge my Apple Watch series 7?

Hey,

I have been trying to find an answer to this question. It seems there is no answer online.

What are the minimum power adapter requirements to charge my Apple Watch Series 7?
I have some Samsung chargers lying around that I would like to use them.


I am using this power adapter with the USB Type-A Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Cable (1 m): https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MX2E2AM/A/apple-watch-magnetic-charging-cable-1m

I use that cable plugged into a usb socket built into an electrical plug socket and had it attached to various different usb plug adaptors over time and never had an issue.

Plug it in. If it charges, you’re fine. I’ve never had an Apple Watch fail to work on any USB charger.
