Can Iphone be hacked?

I was wondering since Iphone is very secured so if we ever go to a website and accidentally click random unknowns links, I was trying to read some fanfic and it says “my phone was hacked” what I did was clear browsing history on google. Idk if that is ok

It was a pop-up webpage. It’s trying to get you to give your personal information. Perhaps avoid that website in the future because it’s obviously not good
