Can Lock PDFs, but Not Remove the Lock

I just went through and locked several PDFs stored in iCloud via the Files app.

I attempted to remove a lock using the same method and there doesn’t seem to be a way to unlock them. ??‍♂️

I hope this feature is forthcoming.

I’m prompted to enter the password I created to view them.

I can unlock the PDF to view it, but not remove the lock altogether, so that I don’t have to enter a password to view it.

Ah yes, so i think you’ll need to print a new copy to get a new pdf without a password. I might be wrong but that’s what i would do.
