iPhone 15/Plus Can normal iPhone 15 do 2x portraits?

I ordered an iPhone 15 that just arrived. My wife was happy, but wanted to make sure it still provides the 2x in portrait mode that my old iPhone 11 Pro currently provides. Can anyone confirm or deny that?
I am not sure how to properly google that, so I am relying on the mr's community for help - thanks!
