I was on Yosemite and I had to migrate to El Capitan 10.11.6 (due to ios12).
MacBookPro11,5, Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015.
I am using Lightroom 5.7.1 (fully compatible with El Capitan).
iPhone XS and 7, iOS 12.1.
Icloud photo off.
Transfer to mac or pc on automatic.
Formats to Most Compatible.
Before El Capitan update, never had any issue importing photos through lightroom from iphones (X, 7, 6s, 6 etc...), lightroom importer reads the photos and videos but unable to import the photos, import starts and never ends without importing anything.
I tried image capture, reads the photos and videos but, error 9912 and 9937 and unable to import.
I tried Photos, reads the photos and videos but, unable to import, import starts and never ends without importing anything.
I am using official iphone cable, I tried different usb plug on the mac.
I have restarted iphones and mac many times.
I do not want to update to Sierra, High Sierra or Mojave due to the current software compatibilities I am using.
See iphones on itunes and able to back them up!
In mac safe mode same issues.
I can use Airdrop but when you are importing hundreds of photos and videos it is not the way to go.
I have been googling and no luck.
Will go on a genius bar appointment next but I am not very confident about apple geniuses...
meanwhile anybody has/had this issue and solved it?
Please help!
