Currently on my 2nd charge of my air 2 with iOS9 with a backup from 8.4.1. I usually get good battery life with it because I am a light to medium user but this seems insane for battery life. Also haven't plugged it in since taking it off at 100 percent.

iPad Can this battery life be real?

Yup. iPads have insane standby life. I get 40-50 hours of standby routinely, but I've also gotten 24 hours of usage out of one charge on my iPad Air 2 before as well.
