For a particular workgroup setup, it would be useful if an iMac, on which we would install OS X server, could also run fi. Keynote.

Is that possible?

The pre-sales guy at Apple said it couldn't, but that seems odd to me, cause the core system is very my alike and many services are the same.

Since there's no trial version, I can't check it out myself.

Please let me know if this is possible.

It is not recommended to let user work an a server.

Imagine, you have shares defined, which will be opened on login.
When you log into the server, where the shares are, the server will tell you, that he cannot do that, as they are local.

Therefore in theory it might work, startup and everything.

But I wouldn't let non-admins on the machine.
