Hi guys,

I'm using my old Mac Pro 5.1 2020 with an RX580 as a gaming desktop and using Windows 10 only - MacOS isn't even installed any longer, apart from the recovery stuff.

Today I received an RTX2060 and popped that in but now Windows doesn't boot at all. All I see is a white screen, nothing else. I tried different cables, ports etc, nothing helps.

I can boot into Mac OS Recovery mode with the RTX2060 but obviously that doesn't help me either.

What shall I do?

Update: Booting into safe mode doesn't work either, it won't get past the white screen. I'm assuming this is the Mac OS boot loader but I don't even see a disk selection option.

Just realised that my 6 pin to 8 pin cable (which works on the RX580) looks different to the one required by the 2060!

Solved!
Windows was installed in legacy mode. Reinstalling it in UEFI mode solved all the problems.
