iPod touch Cannot copy music to two IPOD Touches

I have two IPOD Touches and recently added a bunch of music from my library to both of them. Now I cannot add any more music, but there is about two gigs of free space on both. I tried synching, restarting, etc but nothing works. Any ideas? Thanks.

Have you downloaded the ipod classic itunes update for your computer?
