Canon's product support for the Optura 600 states
"Do not connect other IEEE1394 devices to the computer while the camcorder is connected to the computer"
I have an older Sony Camcoder that does not have this problem but it seems to be a consistent thing with all Canon Camcoders. Does anyone no the reason for this and is there any workaround short of disconnecting my LaCie Firewire drives before uploading my video to my mac?
