iPhone 7/Plus Can’t access my camera roll from computer (iPhone 7 Plus)

Hey,
I’m using a Windows 10 PC and ever since I updated my 7 Plus to iOS 11 I can’t access my photos through there.
When I connect the iPhone to the PC it shows as a drive on my computer as usual, but when I click it it says “this folder is empty” and I can’t transfer my photos from there.

Is it a known bug with iOS 11? What Can I do?

Well I’ve done it in the past but I need to do it again probably...

If the option doesn’t ‘pop up’ with connection to iTunes, how do I enable it manually?
