the pop up "your music will be replaced" pop up appears and then the active toggle keeps switching itself to off right after. on my old iPhone 5 it stays active. maybe cuz i do not have music on my iPhone already?

I'm facing the same problem. Apparently it's very common based off the r/jailbreak subreddit.

Don't know of any fixes but people are claiming that making an iTunes backup, doing a clean install, then restoring from that backup will make music work again. Don't know personally though.

So what I did was go into iFile and fiddled around and deleted the .plist files for my library and rebooted. I wish I remembered what I deleted and where but this fixed it.

**EDIT**

I went into /var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control/iTunes and deleted MediaLibrary.sqlitedb along with the -shm and -wal files. I also deleted iTunesPrefs.plist. You must reboot so that the Music app can recreate the files.
