Hey all,

I'm running OS 10.11.6 (can't upgrade my mac is from 2008), so I can't run the most current version of Office for Office 365. I can run the Office 2016 suite and HAVE been until a day or so ago.

I saw an alert saying I needed to activate my Suite so I tried to enter in my password. The Loading screen kept spinning. I uninstalled and reinstalled and tried again. I kept either getting a spinning Loading Screen or a "No Network Connection" screen.

I tried deleting all of the Microsoft folders in "Library > Containers" And I deleted the Office and .ms folders in the "Library > Group Containers" folder.

I've used the Microsoft License removal tool and the Activation Troubleshoot.app.

I've turn Automatic Proxies ON. I've turned Automatic Proxies OFF.

NOTHING WORKS.

Nothing I do seems to be able to get this to run. Best I can figure the Office365ServicesV2 is causing issues. When I view my logs, I get the following...

3/6/19 3:02:07.452 PM Microsoft Word[12641]: MATSMATS createScenario - Call to CreateScenario before initializing MATS, ErrorType: 0, ErrorSeverity: 0

I note NO ROUTE TO HOST. Seems to coincide with my "No Network Connection" errors.

Anyone have any success in dealing with this issue?

Thanks

Try the license deactivation tool on this link here. It worked for me and maybe it will do the same for you. Good luck!
