"Can't Connect to the App Store" error

Hello

I'm trying to download a program in the App Store. When I try to connect to the App Store, it says "Cannot connect to the App Store". I have internet, and according to Apple the App Store is working. I believe the App Store is being blocked from the router that I don't have access. I have free internet in the apartment I live in. Does anyone know how to connect to the App Store if it's being blocked on my router?

If it's really being blocked, then you no choice but to go somewhere that has free WiFi and download from there.
