Is the IOS 8 update ipsw file (specifically for the rMini Verizon model) available anywhere other than Apple servers?
I have been trying for days using:
Nothing works.
iTunes just hangs at "contacting iPad up date server" then when (IF) it does finally connects I get the message "download failed."
OTA the gear just spins and spins and sometimes I see "7 days remaining" then that fails with "download error."
Direct link to Apple starts downloaing the ipsw at about 16*BITS* per minute then fails.
I've tried all times of the day & night with the same results for the last 3 days. My iPhone 5S & 5 both updated just fine albeit a bit slowly.
