It seems to have fixed the metallic kerplunk noise emanating from my rev D powerbook every few minutes. I set it to 194 as suggested by another mac forums member.
Hope it doesn't it break it, but if it did, it would
almost be worth it. That noise was quickly driving me nutty.
BTW, Anyone know what the default setting would be for the Rev D 100GB Seagate (Model ST9100823A)?
