Resolved Can’t get get rid of the notification in phone app

Since this morning (after I missed a call), I’m unable to get rid of the red notification on phone app icon. Normally just opening the app and viewing recent calls and/or playing unheard voicemail would get rid of it. But not today. I’m running 17.2.1 on an SE 2022. Killing the phone app doesn’t help. Rebooting didn’t help. Any idea how to remove it?

How about turning the phon off completely for awhile then turning it back on? You could also try to delete/remove the app then download it again from the App Store

It took a minute or so after reboot but then went away.
