Cant get my mac to login to Mobile Me

i can login through the website fine, but when i try to log in under system prefs i get this:

make sure your username is squeeks3k and not squeeks3k@me.com. try it anyway. if that isnt the case then go to me.com and change the password and try again, and jsut to double check on the username thing, log into me.com using your username and not email.

tried all of that, it still didnt work. Must have been an issue with the login server because it started working again.
