Hi all

I am having a problem trying to install Mac OS X 10.4 tiger on my iBook G3. I have checked the system requirements to install Mac OS X 10.4 tiger on my iBook G3 and all seem's that my iBook can run it. my specs are: 500MHz PowerPc G3, 640MB of pc133 memory, 60GB hard drive, DVD/CD RW drive. and I checked the apple website and my iBook can run it but when I try to install it, it says ALERT: this software can not be installed on this computer. I've checked the installer log and it said installation checks failed, then installation check failure. (null) this software can not be installed on this computer. what could could be causing this problem, thanks

Is it a generic 10.4 disc or one that came with a machine? The ones that come with a machine only work on those models to the best of my knowledge.
