Hello,

in finder i am able to connect to my old macbook pro from my 2020 macbook air, i typed in my name and password from my macbook pro and it connected without any issues.
but i am trying to do the reverse and connect to my macbook air from my macbook pro and doing the same thing entering my name and password and it isn't accepting it.

i checked all the settings in the sharring preferences and everything seems to be good on both machines. I'm so confused.

to make things worse,
On my macbook pro i can choose share screen and connect that way to my macbook air, but not connect to see the directories.

In Sharing prefs on the Air, what users are specifically allowed access to what folders? Also, click "Options" - user needs to be checked here too.
