On a 256Mb Wi-Fi iPad Pro 10.5 inch I can’t slide down the control panel from the right corner of the screen while an app is open. This has happened on every iOS 12 beta so far. It works fine when on the home screen.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I don’t see how this particular problem could be a hardware issue. I have not tried to reset anything yet since it is only an annoyance issue. An iPad Air 2 that I have works fine.

Edit: Looks like there may be a setting for this, that doesn’t exist.
Theory: I may have changed this setting on iOS 11 which is no longer available to change back on iOS 12.
Bug reported!

On the iPhone X running iOS11, there’s a toggle for this in settings. I assume you’ll have the same toggle on iOS12 on your iPad.

If it’s already on, try turning off then back on.

That could be at the root of my problem! Unfortunately I don’t have that option in my Control Center settings on either my iPad Pro 2 nor my iPad Air 2. The next question would be, does anyone have this option In iOS 12?

Just noticed that “Access within Apps” does come up in the Settings search results on iOS 12. It is non-functional on both iPads. Looks like a possible bug report.

Option doesn't show up for me on original iPad Pro on PB2. However swipe down from the top right does work within apps for me.
