iPhone Can't start hey Siri on SE

Is there a trick how to setup hey Siri on the SE?

When I activate it in settings it starts with the setup where you have to say "hey Siri" a couple of times. It understands my first attempt, but on second attempt it just says it could not understand me and asks if I wanna try later again.

Don't know what I do wrong?

That's the process and it worked fine for me. It does have a little trouble if you have a thick accent. Were you covering the mic at all? Maybe try speaking a little louder and clearer? Just try again. It may be busy servers or something.
