Hi,
Saw the wicked article on macbytes with the link with cool apps to record TV to the mac.
http://www.pure-mac.com/mediacenter.html
I've used hacktv before and i really like the look and functionality of Vidi, but....does anyone know of an app which combines the 2 main features of both...
hacktv has tons of output possibilities..ie. you can capture in .mp4 to really maximize disc space, but scheduling needs scripting which is a pain
vidi has great scheduling, but only outputs to full sized dv
anything combining those 2 features would be awesome.
i'm using a canopus 100 to connect to my vcr to my g4 so i'm thinking i can't control the tv channels? i don't have a fancy video card without outputs/inputs or anything...just using the FW to the canopus.
Cheers,
Keebler
