CarPlay Carplay not playing playlists in Apple Music

when using Hey Siri command. When I tell Siri on my phone to play a playlist from Apple Music it works fine. However when I plug the phone into my car and activate CarPlay, Siri fails to play all but a couple of my playlists. Anyway to fix this problem?

I'd have thought it must only be background noise confusing Siri, does it fail on the same ones in CarPlay when stationary??
