Experiencing a very annoying bug that I’ve reported to Apple and not heard back on. No idea when it started (just bought my car that has Apple CarPlay), so to be fair it could have been going on for a while already...or it could be brand new.

After using Apple CarPlay, when I disconnect my phone (wired CarPlay), the volume on my phone for the ringer remains at a near maxed out level (the audio inside the car is barely 1/4 to 1/3 level of max volume). I have to remember to turn my phone down, lest I startle the entire office with the phone ringing if I forget.

Has anyone else experienced this? I didn’t think it could be a result of my car software, but I suppose it is possible. Car is a 2019 Audi RS5.

I am also experiencing this on a 2018 Macan. I use my iPhone as an alarm clock and it blasts me up in the morning if I forget to adjust the volume. Has anyone found a fix to this!
